We are Jim and Judy Schaumberg of Blue Feather Farm Alpacas. Our farm is located on 28 beautiful acres in central Missouri. Thanks for visiting; we hope you enjoy our website! 

Blue Feather Farm started in 2002. Alpacas have been a wonderful addition to our lives and we haven’t looked back.  We truly love alpacas and the impact they have made on our lives. We have a herd of five foundation females and two herdsires. Quality offspring from our foundation gals will periodically be available for purchase.

Customer Service!
We are committed to our customers. If you are a new to alpacas we will serve as a mentor farm to help you transition into alpaca ownership. This includes hands on demonstration of the techniques that we utilize in alpaca care, understanding the aspects of alpaca husbandry, breeding, and the health issues of alpacas. If you are already experienced with alpacas we would love to share our knowledge, if needed, or just share alpaca stories.

Strictly adhering to sound nutritional and husbandry practices, combined with respectfully caring for our alpacas, utilizing the T-team methods of Marty Bennett, makes for a healthy, happy alpaca!
